For the Birds

Oh the joy of peanut butter, pine cones and birdseed. Hattie was licking the butter of the knife in between dipping and spreading *ick* The littles were dieing to get some themselves! We concluded this project with moonsand castles...don't know how that ties in but that is just what we did.

Decorated Plates

I have been wanting to get new plates for awhile now but I saw a tutorial about someone decorating China and decided to try it out on my plane boring plates. None of them match but they all turned out really well. I only did some of the plates and I am planing on finishing the rest up after I bake these and wash them (we need plates to eat off of and stuff). It was really easy I just bought a porcelain pen by pebeo and drew my design on the plates. best part is tt only cost $3. They sell them in a lot of colors and I might go back and add a color or two. Hattie really enjoyed watching me and helping me pick out designs. Here is the site that inspired this :)  Re-nest

Presenting the Littles

So I was crusing around the internet and I found the cutest little puppies. I found them on petfinder at a local animal shelter. Hattie had been dieing for a little puppy since we visited grandma. She loves her little buddy dog! He is a Jack Russel/ Chihuahua mix.  These little girls are rat terrier mixes. It feels good to know I am giving these sweet little things a home! Thank you Petfinder, thank you! My husband named them Winchester (left) and Kimber (right) after guns. Hattie already claims Win is her puppy! They both can't seem to get enough of licking poor baby Will's face. Baby slobber must taste good! Next item on the to-do list: house train puppies....

Netbook Cover

I got inspired to make a netbook sweater today. I have been meaning to get it some kind of cover for a while now so I guess this works.Wanted to make it manly enough for my husband to be able to carry too so I put a scary looking dino on it. Hattie enjoyed watching me use the "machine" as she calls it. Got the idea here.

So I jumped into Tuesday, and I had myself a snooze-day!

I was just stumbling around the net today and found a cool idea! So cool looking it is defiantly on my list of things to make.

I wish my crafty area look even close to this!

I just love this picture...

Another for the to-do list. Both my husband and I have always loved legos!

I find this place inspiring to. There is so much to look at in this small place. It seems like a really cozy space.

I have seen a lot of how-to snow globes but something about these seem to inspire me more. I like the fact that they are so small but so much to look at.

I like anything Holga, but this is the original picture that inspired me to paint mine. I enjoyed looking through her blog too!
